Wow! What a great game. We had fun, and we would like to thank all of you for coming out with us to play. The new game type was a hit, and I think we should play that more often. Looking forward to next time.

I am thinking about doing a class/seminar on gear and game performance. Anyone interested? I have spent the last 13 years playing and studying paintball gear and how it works, and I have owned and used, a ton of equipment over the years, and I feel confident I can help someone improve their game and gear setup. Good setup means less frustration and more fun. If your confident with your setup, then you will be more apt to make a charge or rush a flag, or something like that. Edge Zer0 knows, our gear works well, and we feel ready for a push or to rush a bad guy. You could be there too! I'm not suggesting a fortune to make it fun, cause in this game skill really matters, but a positive setup can really ramp up the game! No self promotion, I just want to help you guys have the best time possible. Let me know and we can schedule something.

Ready to play?
Edge Zero would love for the regular crowd to join us Sunday 5/17, from 1-6pm @ the usual spot. We'll probably try some new game types, and also we have some new rules that will be permanent so please come early or on time so we can get right to playing after the rules and safety are covered. We learned a ton about safety, and it's all good stuff to protect everyone. I will bring a chronograph so everyone will be shooting @ the right FPS. (285). Also from here on out, A barrel sock or barrel plug will be required! you must have one!
Please bring your own stuff guys! Every time we play someone ends up short of what they need, and things get confused or misplaced. I have personally lost a bunch of gear (tanks, pods, hoppers, Squeegee's and so on) so come well prepared. After the trip I don't have extra stuff anymore. Also, the weather forecast is suggesting upwards of 90 degrees! It will be very hot, and drinks will not be provided, come ready to hydrate yourself. Sorry if this sounds kinda selfish, but this sport is way too expensive for me as it is, and to provide everyone with everything is too much, this is my hobby, not my job. So if you can make it let Me, Josh, Corpy, or Andrew know ASAP! and be ready to have a great time! If @ least 2 people want to volunteer to referee for a bit I can provide a mask and bright colored attire.

Checklist:
BARREL SOCK OR BARREL PLUG!!! (safety first!)
Gun/marker, barrel, mask, hopper, full tank, paintballs. (duh...)
Water/Gatorade (soda would be a bad idea...)
Good attitude =)

Oh the CARNAGE!!!

Did we have fun @ supergame? No. We had a Blast, and dominated!!!!!!!!! EZ went from nobodys, to having some spectators cheering us on from the sidelines. I'm not sure if we could have had more fun in paintball. Basically, we helped the yellow army rain paint on the goggles of the red army as the monsoon rains in the jungle, (and St. Paul Oregon in the middle of a firefight lol). Edge Zer0 Hammered the enemy with a truckload of paint, flawless equipment, amazing teamwork and excellent communication! WAY TO GO TEAM! As team Captain, I could not be any more proud of the effort and cooperation put forth by Corpy, Bullet, and Bok. You guys made our team shine with your excellent sportsmanship, and skill on the playing field! We pwnd our first event and got a victory plaque to prove it! Can't wait to do it again sometime. Now we know where our lazers @. So, Anyone wanna play paintball?... are you sure? w00t sauce!!!

Ah yeah! supergame is days way my friends. However, the weather forecast sucks :( As of this morning, Rain...all weekend...on a trip...we have been looking forward to...and invested in...and...ok I'm done. Bring warm stuff and a rain jacket. I might scotch guard my camo before the trip. Our gear should be fine. the sp1's and vibe are a go I know, and I think the a5's should hang just fine. I managed to repair all the broken stuff from sunday, and I am confident I have stablalized the leaky stuff. Make sure your hoppers are gonna be water tight. wet paint and cold air with air pressure and an impact hammer type thing do not mix! If its raining we have to keep our stuff as clean and water tight as possible. Also fresh batteries and vertical tanks will be the rule from now on.

So this weeks checklist...

-Camping gear, clothes, lots o SOCKS! towels (sleeping bags pillows ect. your usual junk)
-I'm bringing a camp stove, pots n pans, silverware, camping light, propane, ect...
-Hygene products. Bring baby wipes to clean yourself. no showers guys so please be kind. I have camping shampoo we can use.
-Lots of water or other fluids to drink.
-Your own food. plan well we will need a TON of energy for this trip.
-Cash! this event is cash only! they may have something you want at a booth, but only cash is accepted.
-TP. 1000 people sharing a bathroom? I'm bringing my own junk thank you......
-Hand sanitizer...see above for reason.
-Tools! If your marker craps out, be ready to fix it. We are a team, and we rely on each other. If your out, we're out. Also bring a backup marker or 2!
-ALL YOUR GEAR! DONT FORGET ANYTHING YOU EVEN THINK YOU MAY NEED. USE IT OR NOT, BRING IT! (squeegee, paper towels to clean your lens, gloves, neck protector, Ect...)
-A bible, and a good attitude! Remember who we are and who we stand for. God is our team captain. Let's be courteous and loving to one another, and the hundreds of other players.

Cool. Practice went well guys. Very nice movement. Really looking forward to tomorrow. Bring everything! This is not like home. I can't give you a ride to your house cause you forgot something. LOL. Ima try and get somemore headsets today radios will be nice but useless if everyone can hear us. So we can cover more stuff in the car tomorrow. Edge zero ftw!

This Weekend.

Ok so Here it is! the week before supergame. all the gear is here, and this Sunday @ 2pm in eureka we are gonna play/train with the Humboldt Fog Dogs. Make sure all your gear is ready to go Sunday by noon and in my van. make sure you have paint and air and your gun is working flawlessly. Lets go down there ready to play and learn something from a very experienced team. This will not be like playing here against a mix of noobs and old schooler's, these guys practice and train, and are all pro's @ paintball team stuff. They are well equipped and tactically minded, and from the conversations I've had with them, Really nice guys. I personally, am grateful for the invitation to play, and their willingness to help us get going toward becoming a great paintball team. So get your butts in gear and be ready to go! This should be the best weekend eva!...at least until supergame ;)
